Meet Our Therapists
Sarah White, LMT.
Owner of Almita Massage.
Colorado born and raised, Sarah graduated from Boulder College of Massage Therapy in 2011. Over the past 14 years, Sarah has focused on perfecting her massage techniques by incorporating numerous massage modalities into her work. She has studied Shiatsu, Trigger Point Therapy, Reflexology, SMRT, Thai Massage and more.
Sarah has worked in several hotel spas, including 6 years at the Omni Interlocken Resort’s Mokara Spa, where she formed working relationships with many repeat guests who requested her on an on-going basis.
Sarah has developed outstanding skill, enabling her to provide intense work that targets clients’ aches and pains while still providing a relaxing massage that focuses on creating a safe space for the nervous system. With her dual approach, her clients are able to fall into a deeper state, reaching maximum relaxation. She also provides soothing, light-pressure massage, if that is what is most needed or is requested.
Sarah has always had a passion for human anatomy and wanted to find a way to use that passion to help others. Being able to treat those who suffer from physical, mental, emotional pain, or discomfort, has made massage therapy a very rewarding profession for her. Sarah knew this was her path on her first day at Boulder College of Massage Therapy, and has found it deeply meaningful ever since.
Sarah enjoys having her own practice and treating clients in Erie and the surrounding areas, and has a passion for helping and being a part of her growing community. She loves being able to give her highest-quality massages in the comforting and therapeutic environment that she created at Almita Massage.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys hiking, waterskiing, traveling, reading, and going on adventures with her dog, Pax (a fluffy Golden Retriever/Bernese Mountain dog with a big personality).

Catherine Anievas, LMT Reiki Practitioner
Welcome! My name is Catherine.
I received my massage therapy training from the Berkana Institute in Longmont,
Colorado. My studies integrated a heart-centered approach to wellness and
embodiment, with a strong emphasis on mindful presence. I believe deeply in both
personal and collective healing. Healing happens when we return to our natural
state of balance—when we soften into surrender, allow the body to come back to
homeostasis, and offer ourselves and others compassion and kindness. Relaxing the nervous system is a powerful place to begin, helping calm both mind and body.
Taking time to care for our holistic health is essential for living a balanced and
wholehearted life. My intention with this work is to nurture the profound potential of connection through therapeutic touch. I want every client to feel safe, heard, and seen during our sessions. My hope is to help alleviate discomfort and ease tension on both physical and emotional levels.
Originally from Wisconsin, I have been living in Boulder County for over 20 years.
I am a parent to two amazing kids and grateful to call Longmont home. In my free time, I love moving my body - dancing, walking, or riding my bike. I feel most at peace outdoors, hiking and gathering natural objects along the way. I am also an artist, where the creative process is just as meaningful to me as the finished piece. I have a passion for baked goods and writing poetry, and I enjoy studying and practicing spiritual astrology and other forms of divination.
I am building a life with purpose and presence, and I would be honored to share a
part of that journey with you.
